CHAMPIONSHIP
THE COMPETITION SITE
The competition will take place on a
canal called CAVO LAMA, from Ponte Tagliana to Ponte Scuole.
The competition site extends without
interruption for km 2.2 and is flanked by a road suitable for vehicles, easily
accessible.
The depth of the canal varies from
2.00 to
The main species of fish are as
follows:
Carp from
g 30 to g 2000;
Carassius vulgaris from g 10 to g 200.
There are also
smaller amounts of: bleak (Alburnus albidus), rudd (Scardinus erythrophthalmus),
catfish and other species.
The most used
techniques are: Roubaisienne and English rods.
N.B. Since the
competition site is an irrigation canal, it is completely empty from October to
April; the competitions on the canal shall start on 1 May and end at the end of
September.

delegations, at the time of their arrival, should go to the Hotel Marchi - Via

in charge of logistics for the Organising Committee.

REGISTRATION FEE
FOR THE DELEGATIONS AVAILING THEMSELVES OF THE ORGANISATION
The
registration fee for the official period which is from Thursday 21 June to
Monday morning, 25 June, is 2,800.00
(two thousand eight hundred/00) for a delegation consisting of eight
persons (six Competitors, one Captain, one Delegate).
The
registration fee includes:

in double room and dinner from Thursday 21 June until breakfast on Monday
morning, 25 June;

fishing permits and insurance;

eight
tickets to the gala dinner.
For the delegations who want longer
accommodation (before or after the official period) an agreement has been made
with the hotels with a cost of 65.00
(sixty-five/00) per person per day with accommodation in double room,
breakfast and dinner and 80.00
(eighty/00) in single room.
The official hotel of the Event is the Hotel
Marchi.
REGISTRATION FEE FOR THE DELEGATIONS NOT AVAILING THEMSELVES OF THE
ORGANISATION
The delegations which do not choose the
official accommodation shall pay a one-off registration fee of 1,030.00 (one thousand and thirty/00)
to the Organising Committee by bank transfer. The registration fee covers the
organisational expenses and covers eight tickets to the gala dinner, the
fishing permits, insurance and other items which the organisation may
distribute.
ACCOMMODATION FOR ACCOMPANYING PERSONS
Accompanying persons may contact the
organisation, which will make every effort to provide accommodation in double
rooms, with breakfast and dinner, for
65.00 (sixty-five/00) per day per persona and 80.00 (eighty/00) in single rooms.
The cost of the gala dinner shall be
50.00 (fifty/00) per person.
The amount for accommodation must be
paid at the time of booking through bank transfer to the Organising Committee
at: Banca Popolare Emilia Romagna - Piazza Martiri n. 35
OPENING CEREMONY
The opening ceremony will take place at 18.00

PROGRAMME OF
OFFICIAL TRAINING
For official training, boxes will be assigned
for the draw on Monday morning from 8.00 to 10.00 according to an official
list; draws will be made at the International Federation gazebo at the
competition site.
Training will be conducted as follows:
from Monday to Thursday morning from 10.30
to 13.30;
afternoon from 15.00 to 18.00;
Friday morning from 10.30 to 13.30.
Training on Friday morning is
compulsory.
It is
obligatory for the participating countries to confirm the date of their arrival
at least ten days before the date of the first training; any country absent on
the Friday morning before the competition, even if registered, shall be
considered as having renounced and shall automatically be excluded from the
Championship.
